Ares filesharing with Vista
I’d never tried filesharing before and I was holding off because of the recent bad press it got. Last night I really wanted to listen to a couple of tracks that I remembered from my youth. Rather than wait I decided I would download them for free. So reluctantly I tried to find some software and hoped that it wouldn’t send me insane with frustration within minutes.
I stumbled right into Ares Vista – it was billed in one review as the implementation of Ares that really worked well with the improved security settings of Windows Vista (of which I am a proud owner and user) and since I didn’t intend to spend the day battling with internal security settings I went straight to the Ares Vista website.
The website was nice and easy to navigate and I’d downloaded the Ares Vista software within no time. Installation was similarly simple. So far so good!
Fortunately the ease didn’t end there: I found locating and downloading my favorite music to be stupidly simple (and Ares Vista made it particularly easy to guess just what I was supposed to be doing. No complicated manual required.
It is for the simplicity of the Ares Vista that I would advise others to take a look, even if you think you’ve got a filesharing app that you like. This one is better.
