Best site to download Ares

Written by Laura on Jul 11th, 2008 | Filed under: General

I’m a massive filesharing fan. I really love reading the latest industry news and keeping up with the latest trends. I like to know about the latest Ares software when it comes onto the scene. In short, I’m a bit of an Ares geek. Fortunately people

share my hobby and I’m pleased to say that OfficialAres.com contains all I need to satisfy by burning desire! To top it all off it’s the best place on the net from which to download Ares. Nothing else comes close.

People who are new to filesharing are most likely going to stumble on the site from Google or the like, and for these people — probably wanting to download Ares for the first time — the site is an absolute gem.

Even if, like me, you’re not particularly interested in going to find a place to download Ares from, the site contains useful information. If you are looking for a replacement for your current software then the reviews section can point you in the right direction for your next Ares download.

It’s rare for me to be this gushing over, of all things, a web site, but the guys (and gals over at OfficialAres.com really do deserve all the praise they get. Excellent stuff.

Home Business Review Research

Written by Foxy on Jul 9th, 2008 | Filed under: General

If you want to follow your dreams and become your own boss, work your own hours and earn money for yourself and not for ‘the boss’, then you would do well to consider a home business. If you’re considering a home business then you’ll want to read up on a home business review for your chosen field. This is where CitizenCorps.com comes in as the best place to read a relevant home business review.

Research into things like a home business review will really pay dividends in the long run; finding out that a business opportunity isn’t for you after you’ve started to plough your life and soul into it can really be very depressing (I imagine. Fortunately I don’t know for sure because I was sure to check a home business review before I started anything!).

A home business can be a lease of new life. You get to see more of your family, you get to work on the things you want to do. Above all, you get independence that previously you would not have had. But this is a big commitment. Do yourself a favour and do some proper research before you start on this exciting path.

Ares connection problem

Written by Laura on Jul 8th, 2008 | Filed under: General

The epidemic of users complaining about Ares not connecting is skyrocketing. I installed Ares Galaxy on my laptop yesterday and it turns out that I was having the same problem. Frustrating isn’t the word!

A little searching around found a solution to my problem: Ares Vista. It turns out that the problem is largely with older versions of the Ares software (read: Ares Galaxy) and changing means Ares connecting just fine. Ares Ultimate also solves the problem.

The reasons for Ares not connecting are perhaps a little technical. The software contains a list of what are called cnodes. When it is turned off and then back on it attempts to connect to these cnodes (which in essence are the last known good nodes); Ares needs to start the connecting process somewhere and this is it. If Ares (as in the case of Ares Galaxy) forgets to update this last know good list of cnodes then it attempts to connect to ever older lists, and to IPs that are no longer good.

Ares connecting (or not, as the case may be) can be lightening fast (thanks to the clever algorithms in the newer software) but can also be disappointingly slow. Which would you choose if you had the option?
